Yurt Ski: Ski Touring Karakol + Jergalan valley - 10 Day
Its our bestseller. We combine 2 playgrounds in the Lake Issyk Kul area where the winters are mild being affected by warm lake and snow is dry. Stay in our winter-ready hand crafted kyrgyz yurts like real nomad and enjoy direct access to a great variety of finest backcountry ski and splitboard terrain covered with annual snowfalls of up to 2,200 cm. Ski at day time and enjoy fire and dinner in the evening by staying in our warm, wood burning stove heated yurt. Later we move further east to Jergalan valley and stay in our local partner guest house for the rest of the tour exploring unlimited freeride possibilities of this miners village.
Itinerary
1 Day. Arrive Bishkek. Meet guides. Drive to Karakol for aprox 6 hrs. Skin up the yurts.
2 Day. Full day backcountry ski touring in the area. Apre ski at the end of the day. Hot sauna to be taken, cold vodka to be drinken. Yurt accommodation.
3 Day. Full day backcountry ski touring in the area. Apre ski at the end of the day. Hot sauna to be taken, cold vodka to be drinken. Yurt accommodation.
4 Day. Full day backcountry ski touring in the area. Apre ski at the end of the day. Hot sauna to be taken, cold vodka to be drinken. Yurt accommodation.
5 Day. Ski out of yurts in the morning. Transfer to Jergalan. Optional sightseeing in Karakol or ski resort skiing, or another ski touring day on the way to Jergalan. Homestay accommodation.
6 Day. Full day freeride touring in Jergalan. Apre ski at the end of the day. Hot sauna to be taken, cold vodka to be drinken. Homestay accommodation.
7 Day. Full day freeride touring in Jergalan. Apre ski at the end of the day. Hot sauna to be taken, cold vodka to be drinken. Homestay accommodation.
8 Day. Full day freeride touring in Jergalan. Apre ski at the end of the day. Hot sauna to be taken, cold vodka to be drinken. Homestay accommodation.
9 Day. Ski out in the morning. Long day drive to Bishkek. Accommodation in hotel. Final night and dinner.
10 Day. Transfer to airport for your up coming onward journey. End of services.

*Price is based on quadrople occupancy in yurts and double occupancy in hotels
